I have an eclectic professional background and education in counseling, mediation, real estate, business, law and technology. For example, for four years, I worked as an open adoption counselor and mediator helping adopting parents discover their ideal parenting practices and values. I also facilitated workshops with couples to recognize common relationship obstacles and communicate more effectively as a Certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home trainer. Interested in family law, I earned a paralegal certificate. For eight years, while my children were young, I helped people buy and sell real estate as a real estate broker. I even taught a career exploration class to students at a technical college. This diverse experience supports my clients who are usually facing challenges in many areas of their lives.
It has become my life’s purpose and my passion to help other women through this difficult time. With a solid combination of personal experience, professional experience and extensive coach training, I am uniquely positioned to help my clients move forward.
As women, we’ve been taught to live our lives for others and to seek external validation to feel okay. Trusting our inner knowing is a process and a habit that we must practice in order for it to feel natural. First, we must get clear about our values and our unique talents. This can feel foreign and challenging. Having someone else to encourage and support our growth is crucial. Sometimes we just need someone to help us realize that we do have options to get us unstuck. Other times we need the reminder of our humanness – when we feel that we must be the only ones in the world with a particular problem. Wherever you find yourself in your journey, I’d be honored to support you.
